Intelligence Doesn't Equal Morality
Intellect is rooted in ableist systems and stupidity and intelligence are pointless social constructs that don't relate to morals or character.
I try to be a pretty good person, I fight for human rights, I regularly engage in mutual aid, and I care for my community. I try to do the right thing and support causes I care about and make positive changes in the world.
But I also am not very smart. I have several neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as cognitive disabilities. I can’t do simple, basic math, it’s hard for me to remember facts or algorithms, I rely entirely on spellcheck and speech-to-text to write, I failed many classes in high school and I barely passed with a low GPA, I had low pSAT scores and I never took the SATs. I moved around a lot all through school starting in third grade, and I missed a lot of basic fundamentals in learning (like how to do division and multiplication) so when I went to a different school they had already passed it and expected me to know. After my TBI, I could barely read AFTER I was cleared from my “concussion” symptoms because letters and words would flip around and I’d get headaches. Which still happens sometimes.
A lot of people see me as smart because I've learned a lot of academic language and can formulate thoughts into cohesive posts. But I lack a lot of necessary skills and rely on my caretakers to assist me. Things like budgeting and planning are extremely difficult for me. If I need to do simple addition or subtraction, even with a calculator, I quickly get confused and struggle. I forget basic information about myself all the time, let alone other subjects. I'm talking, has to check my ID for my birthday type confused. Doesn't know my name or address or what year it is confused. It happens daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Being able to type out posts like this often takes weeks and many adaptive tools to get there. Focusing is extremely difficult on many fronts, severe chronic pain, ADHD, dissociation, fatigue, migraines, and TBI, are just some of the contributing factors. I struggle daily with many things because of my lack of intellect.
I’m also privileged in the fact that I had some access to education as a homeless youth, that I had some supports in place to help me (towards the end of school), that I was somewhat able-bodied at the time and could walk or bike to and from school when the school system didn’t provide transportation. I was fortunate to have a chance to succeed, and I’m proud that I graduated high school because it was a difficult task for me, and others often aren’t offered that chance or get accommodations. I almost didn’t and I dropped out many times before graduation. I passed on sheer luck and what little privileges I had.
That all being said, me being stupid (reclaiming it here) doesn't make me a bad person. I don't hurt people because I can't do math. I may mess up things or get confused but it doesn't make me want to harm others.
We often (wrongfully) equate morals with intellect. Being ‘stupid’, ‘dumb’, or an ‘idiot’ doesn’t automatically make someone a bad person. Plenty of evil, awful, and abusive people are extremely intelligent.
I see this most notably with people advocating for IQ tests to be able to vote. Often from left-leaning people, in hopes it'll make the right (that they view as unintelligent), unable to vote. The reality is, it just hurts some of our most vulnerable members of the community while not actively doing anything to restrict some of the most dangerous members of our community-- those who know what they're doing to harm others and deliberately doing so. My voice matters, and I speak up against injustice and participate in dismantling oppressive systems. Taking away my right to vote won't make the right stop oppressing minorities (which also puts a lot of faith into the two-party voting system, which is a post for another day).
Additionally, legislative measures that discriminate against intellectually disabled people such as IQ tests for voting are also rooted in racism and classism.
Yes, education can be a vital tool when it comes to addressing discrimination and creating safer communities. But the kind of education that is measured with an IQ test (or any test) isn't the same. Building compassion and caring for others can (and should) happen at any IQ level. We can all practice this, we can all participate.
It harms our communities and stagnates our progress when we equate intelligence with high morals.

Anatomy of a Dalek
A Dalek is primarily made from Dalekanium and polycarbide and is technically a cyborg. To understand how a Dalek is created, see How Do Daleks Become Daleks?
Some Daleks will have variations on the below, but these aspects of a Dalek's anatomy are broadly applicable to most.
The Dome (aka dome section, head section, head dome) is attached to the neck via a docking clamp.
Eyestalk (aka eyepiece, eye antenna, tele-eye, eye-stick, optical stalk, sensory antenna, eyeball unit). The eyestalk is attached to the dome via a lens attachment, sitting on a pivot in a cowl. The eye itself is known as an eyelens. The eyestalk is covered in multiple insulator discs to protect it from radiation.
Luminosity dischargers (aka headlamp, radiation valve, dome light, vocaliser light, sound disc). It's not quite known how or why the luminosity dischargers sync up with Dalek speech, but they could be energy compensators, translation units, safety valves to release excess energy, or just lights to indicate when a Dalek's speaking.
Neck (aka grating section, upper grating section). Attached to the weapons platform via another docking clamp, or 'catch'.
Neck rings support the neck grille.
Neck grille (aka audio receptor grill, sensor grille, sensor mesh, sensor grid louvres) cover the mutant Dalek within.
Weapons Platform (aka shoulder platform, shoulder section).
Slats (aka solar power collection slats, solar slats, solar cells, shoulder slats, armour slats, sensor plates) are effectively solar panels that absorb energy to power the Dalek.
Gunstick (aka radiation gun, gun-rod, ray-gun, exterminator, blast-gun, energy gun, Dalek neutraliser, neutraliser, beam distributor, Dalek beam gun, Dalek gun, ruby ray blaster). Sits on a balljoint, controlled by armament circuits. Can be set to non-lethal, causing temporary paralysis, but maximum settings can split atoms apart. Some Daleks deliberately reduce the power of their gunstick so that the beam burns away the central nervous system outside inwards, so victims die within 2-3 seconds in complete agony.
Manipulator arm (aka tactile arm, arm-stick). Usually sits on a balljoint. Attachments can be swapped out for various tools depending on the needs of the Dalek. Some attachments include the plunger, flamethrower, seismic detector, electrode unit, sieve, syringe, blow torch, cutting tool, another gunstick, or a claw, or basically anything they need.
Base Unit (aka travel unit). Contains the motive unit, the elevation unit, and thrusters.
Sense spheres (aka sensor globes, sensor arrays, bumps) can do pretty much whatever you want them to, including detecting emissions, monitoring the surrounding environment, and acting as self-destruct mechanisms. They can also function as sockets for cables and wires, and some say the sensor globes are capable of free flight, allowing them to provide remote battlefield intelligence.
Bumper (aka fender). Possibly containing proximal alert systems to detect other Daleks, but more likely just softening collisions.

Komaeda!! (For the ask game)
Your opinions about him are so correct btw
(ask meme)
Him... the bastard man... the blorbo of all time......... I can't settle on just one for each category here, and several of these will be things I've rambled about in tags or replies somewhere, so you're getting lists. And tysm! :D
Actually supported by evidence in the text or subtext:
His chapter 1 plan 100% had Teruteru killing him as the end goal, and he wouldn't have stabbed someone else if that didn't happen. He'd either have stabbed himself or abandoned it. There are multiple ways the execution part of the 'murder' plan was sloppy to the point of being out-of-character for him, and not the sort of thing that would make him a stepping stone for ultimates: no way to locate someone in the dark, he'd be covered in blood afterwards if he did find someone, he put glowing paint on the knife as well as the tape...
The above is partly because his luck seems really, really good at keeping him alive at the expense of others. Even during the game it happens in chapter 1 (Imposter), chapter 3 (Tsumiki) and chapter 5 (he wasn't really dead and took out the only AI). If I was in his shoes in chapter 1 I'd expect to Luigi-wins-by-doing-absolutely-nothing my way through the entire goddamn game unless I could kill myself somehow, and attempting death via execution would risk winning the game anyway if the trial went in an absurd direction and his own confession wasn't trusted. The way he was more passive afterwards, trying to make someone plan an entire murder with him, makes the above likelier to me.
He has major untapped friendship potential with Nidai. They could bond over mutually not expecting to make it to 30, and the ways people react to finding that out about them, and his artbook opinion of Nidai admires his success despite his condition. Additionally, post-DR2 I feel like Nidai would be very persistent about getting him to move more and improve his quality of life; he could design a gentle program tailored to his specific needs. And him forcing Komaeda to yell self-affirmations would be hilarious.
He really wouldn't like being restrained. Ch2 was hell for him. It would render him a lot more vulnerable to any bad luck that came his way, he's had trauma involving being kidnapped, and a ball gag is one of only 3 gifts in the game he hates. (No shade to people writing komahina BDSM though.) I don't think it's a kink aversion thing because he's chill with being given a maid outfit and otherwise has no shame, lol.
Nothing to confirm or deny either way:
He's left-handed.
He's barely affected by the speech/language issues that are a major part of FTD. However, he is part of the unlucky minority that develop motor issues, and he wasn't doing a bit in the first trial when he said his handwriting was awful. This was not the case or was a lot milder when he first attended Hope's Peak. Suddenly waking up in the simulation with worse symptoms and then hearing he's lost years of memories, regardless of whether the above is a thing, would have really, really got to him.
He takes a lot of notes in case his memory fails him as well.
The fandom has diverse opinions on this, but imo on paper, or if he met Kamukura in a vacuum, Komaeda would like the Kamukura project. I'm not aware of any lines indicating whether talents being natural or the continued existence of a talentless underclass would be important to him, but what definitely does matter to him is the idea of becoming a stepping stone for hope, even at the expense of one's own life. He's even willing to make Ultimates die for other Ultimates' sake during the game (but presumably wouldn't do that outside of a zero sum situation). Hope's Peak has invented a way for talentless leeches to willingly sacrifice themselves to become vessels for new talented people? People that can bring about more hope for humanity than their body's former occupant ever could? Beautiful. As Hinata's foil it's reasonable to assume their ideologies overlapped a lot as well, and Hinata willingly signed up for this.
If he knew Hinata already, however? He'd struggle with cognitive dissonance. He'd tell himself he should be happy for someone in Hinata's position, but since he cares about him I think part of him would protest hard against Hinata ceasing to exist/be really glad the NWP brought him back, depending on when this is, and he would struggle to suppress that. Processing this postgame could be a catalyst for him to finally start to question his coping mechanisms.
Definitely not what canon was going for:
Does the way I generally disregard non-dr2 canon where it clashes with dr2 or wastes potential count lol?
For example, I think planes would be a major trigger for him. Maybe not discussing them or being near them- he handled going to the airport just fine in dr2- but in Dangan Island his freakout if prompted to think about flying a fighter plane is worse than any other anxiety/paranoia he displays in the mode. DR3 having him be chill after a plane crash feels at best like wasted potential, at worst OOC to me.
Covered-in-scars Komaeda fanon my beloved. It's thoroughly not canon but it just makes sense, and I headcanon that his coat is choppy from him cutting off tears from accidents as well. I like to think that his face is weirdly unharmed, so as he's usually wearing trousers and long sleeves- partly because he gets cold easily, but partly to cover them up- most people have no idea how scarred he is. They're often shocked when they see more of his bare skin.

Auto Subtitle: The Future of Video Content Accessibility
Tumblr media
In today’s digital age, video content dominates the internet. From social media to e-learning platforms, videos are the preferred medium for communication. However, not everyone can consume video content effortlessly. This is where Auto Subtitle technology comes into play, revolutionizing accessibility and engagement.
Auto Subtitle refers to the automatic generation of subtitles using artificial intelligence (AI) and speech recognition. This technology ensures that videos are inclusive, searchable, and more engaging for a global audience. In this article, we will explore how Auto Subtitle works, its benefits, and its impact on content creation.
How Auto Subtitle Works
Auto Subtitle relies on advanced AI algorithms to convert spoken language into written text. The process involves:
Speech Recognition – AI transcribes audio into text in real-time or post-production.
Language Processing – The system identifies different languages and dialects.
Timing Synchronization – Subtitles are matched with the correct timestamps.
Error Correction – Some tools allow manual editing for improved accuracy.
Popular platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Zoom already use Auto Subtitle to enhance user experience.
Benefits of Auto Subtitle
1. Improved Accessibility
Millions of people worldwide are deaf or hard of hearing. Auto Subtitle ensures they can enjoy videos without barriers. Additionally, non-native speakers benefit from reading along with spoken content.
2. Enhanced SEO and Discoverability
Search engines cannot "watch" videos, but they can index text. Auto Subtitle generates searchable text, improving a video’s ranking on Google and YouTube.
3. Increased Engagement
Studies show that videos with subtitles have higher watch times. Many viewers watch videos on mute (e.g., in public spaces), making Auto Subtitle essential for retention.
4. Cost and Time Efficiency
Manual transcription is time-consuming and expensive. Auto Subtitle provides instant results, saving creators hours of work.
5. Multilingual Support
AI-powered Auto Subtitle tools can translate subtitles into multiple languages, broadening audience reach.
Top Auto Subtitle Tools in 2024
1. YouTube Auto Captions
YouTube’s built-in Auto Subtitle feature uses Google’s speech recognition to generate captions. Creators can edit them for better accuracy.
2. Otter.ai
A popular tool for live transcription, Otter.ai is widely used in meetings, interviews, and video production.
3. Rev.com
Rev offers automated and human-generated subtitles, ensuring high precision for professional content.
4. Descript
This tool combines Auto Subtitle with video editing, allowing users to edit videos by modifying the transcribed text.
5. SubtitleBee
An AI-powered platform that generates and translates subtitles in minutes, ideal for social media content.
Challenges of Auto Subtitle Technology
Despite its advantages, Auto Subtitle is not perfect. Some limitations include:
Accuracy Issues – Background noise, accents, and technical jargon can lead to errors.
Lack of Context – AI may misinterpret homophones (e.g., "there" vs. "their").
Limited Customization – Some tools offer minimal formatting options for subtitles.
However, as AI improves, these challenges are gradually being addressed.
The Future of Auto Subtitle
The demand for Auto Subtitle will only grow as video consumption increases. Future advancements may include:
Real-Time Translation – Instant subtitles in multiple languages during live streams.
Emotion Detection – AI could adjust subtitle styles based on the video’s tone (e.g., bold for excitement).
Better Integration – Seamless Auto Subtitle features across all video platforms.

Hello fellow dyslexic/adhd/others who would like to enjoy fanfics through their ears, I just spent the entire day testing android apps to find one that doesn’t suck as much.
TL;DR - these two T2S, Audify
I feel like I need to share this because 90% the apps don’t even allow a web page as a source, let alone get past the log in page, and I cant be the only one who doesn’t want to download every single fic.
“Oh, but doesn’t android have a built-in text-to-speech function in the accessibility settings?” I hear you ask. Yes, but it sucks ass very badly. Firstly it only reads in the system language, so it doesn’t really work. Second, you need to highlight all that you want it to read, and seeing that I read a minimum of 15k words in a sitting, I’m not gonna do that.
Also I’m broke, I imagine you are too, but even if I wasn’t I’m not paying for this, if I did I wouldn’t even be supporting a human being, so no.
I’ll immediately break your trust with the first point, but it’s what I’ve been doing until now, and now that I know what the android mobile experience is like, I feel the need to include this. The best solution I’ve had so far (which works wonders, let me tell you) is letting Siri read them on the iPad. It’s only doable when I’m at home and it’s still an apple product, so that’s why I began the research. However the positive points are INCREDIBLE so I’m going to ads it to the list because I said so.
First of all it’s built-in and SO EASY to access, you literally just swipe with two fingers and it stars to read. It reads the punctuation, you might think that’s a given and so did I, but no. A question sounds like a question, an exclamation point does why its supposed to do, short sentences sound what they’re supposed to sound like. In apparently all the apps ever created, you won’t find any of it, just flat, monotone voices with flat little pauses. Overall excellent experience 10/10.
Cons: it’s on apple, I consider apple the same as Disney, I would love to not give them more money so that they can make the market increasingly worse. Every now and then a system update will fuck with the tts function and it will be unusable for a while. Sometimes it doesn’t like the text format on some fics. It’s not portable.
Now that we got that out of the way let us get to the meet.
Speechify - it sucks bad. At least the free version, but seen as it costs almost 10€ a month I’m not even going to consider the premium version. Fuck that. You can’t increase the speed, and as somebody who hasn’t watched a single YouTube video on normal speed since they added the function I can’t do that, too slow, I forgot what we were talking about once we get to the end of the sentence. Also you can only use those weird very robotic voices, and they’re not even that many. Don’t recommend. I felt like I had to include it since it was one of the few who allowed browser navigation and well, it’s speechify. Also you can’t t have saved more than 3 “files” per time. Doesn’t have sleep mode.
T2S - cute. It works. Again, no emotions, but it reads what it has to, nice voice selections, easy to use. The premium version adds literally nothing, they’re a good app, what they have, they give. Also you can customise the interface colour if you want. Has the sleep mode. - EDIT: this app allows you to have multiple tabs open at the same time, unlike Audify. - EDIT EDIT: it's waaay better than Audify with pdf files.
Audify - works exactly the same as T2S, but it saves the history and has a bit more customisation for how it reads and what it reads (which you don’t really need for ao3, but if you wanted to read, say, Wikipedia with all the notes and stuff, now you know). Has the sleep mode. - EDIT: the double tap to start reading works slightly better than T2S on websites with weird formatting. But unlike T2S you can only have one tab open - EDIT EDIT: will turn your pdf file into text and will show you just text. If you had things like images or columns fucks for you.
That’s all folks. Now go and be free of your reading impediment, or be free in your multitasking, or whatever you want to do. I’m done, I’ve given my datas to all kinds of shady apps, I need to go do damage control

Unlock the Power of AI: Give Life to Your Videos with Human-Like Voice-Overs
Tumblr media
Video has emerged as one of the most effective mediums for audience engagement in the quickly changing field of content creation. Whether you are a business owner, marketer, or YouTuber, producing high-quality videos is crucial. However, what if you could improve your videos even more? Presenting AI voice-overs, the video production industry's future.
It's now simpler than ever to create convincing, human-like voiceovers thanks to developments in artificial intelligence. Your listeners will find it difficult to tell these AI-powered voices apart from authentic human voices since they sound so realistic. However, what is AI voice-over technology really, and why is it important for content creators? Let's get started!
AI Voice-Overs: What Is It? Artificial intelligence voice-overs are produced by machine learning models. In order to replicate the subtleties, tones, and inflections of human speech, these voices are made to seem remarkably natural. Applications for them are numerous and include audiobooks, podcasts, ads, and video narration.
It used to be necessary to hire professional voice actors to create voice-overs for videos, which may be costly and time-consuming. However, voice-overs may now be produced fast without sacrificing quality thanks to AI.
Why Should Your Videos Have AI Voice-Overs? Conserve time and money. Conventional voice acting can be expensive and time-consuming. The costs of scheduling recording sessions, hiring a voice actor, and editing the finished product can mount up rapidly. Conversely, AI voice-overs can be produced in a matter of minutes and at a far lower price.
Regularity and Adaptability You can create consistent audio for all of your videos, regardless of their length or style, by using AI voice-overs. Do you want to alter the tempo or tone? No worries, you may easily change the voice's qualities.
Boost Audience Involvement Your content can become more captivating with a realistic voice-over. Your movies will sound more polished and professional thanks to the more natural-sounding voices produced by AI. Your viewers may have a better overall experience and increase viewer retention as a result.
Support for Multiple Languages Multiple languages and accents can be supported with AI voice-overs, increasing the accessibility of your content for a worldwide audience. AI is capable of producing precise and fluid voice-overs in any language, including English, Spanish, French, and others.
Available at all times AI voice generators are constantly active! You are free to produce as many voiceovers as you require at any one time. This is ideal for expanding the production of content without requiring more human resources.
What Is the Process of AI Voice-Over Technology? Text-to-speech (TTS) algorithms are used in AI voice-over technology to interpret and translate written text into spoken words. Large datasets of human speech are used to train these systems, which then learn linguistic nuances and patterns to produce voices that are more lifelike.
The most sophisticated AI models may even modify the voice according to context, emotion, and tone, producing voice-overs that seem as though they were produced by a skilled human artist.
Where Can AI Voice-Overs Be Used? Videos on YouTube: Ideal for content producers who want to give their work a polished image without investing a lot of time on recording.
Explainers and Tutorials: AI voice-overs can narrate instructional films or tutorials, making your material interesting and easy to understand.
Marketing Videos: Use expert voice-overs for advertisements, product demonstrations, and promotional videos to enhance the marketing content for your brand.
Podcasts: Using AI voice technology, you can produce material that sounds like a podcast, providing your audience with a genuine, human-like experience.
E-learning: AI-generated voices can be included into e-learning modules to provide instructional materials a polished and reliable narration.
Selecting the Best AI Voice-Over Program Numerous AI voice-over tools are available, each with special features. Among the well-liked choices are:
ElevenLabs: renowned for its customizable features and AI voices that seem natural.
HeyGen: Provides highly human-sounding, customisable AI voices, ideal for content producers.
Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: A dependable choice for multilingual, high-quality voice synthesis.
Choose an AI voice-over tool that allows you to customize it, choose from a variety of voices, and change the tone and tempo.
AI Voice-Overs' Prospects in Content Production Voice-overs will only get better as AI technology advances. AI-generated voices could soon be indistinguishable from human voices, giving content producers even more options to improve their work without spending a lot of money on voice actors or spending a lot of time recording.
The future is bright for those who create content. AI voice-overs are a fascinating technology that can enhance the quality of your films, save money, and save time. Using AI voice-overs in your workflow is revolutionary, whether you're making marketing materials, YouTube videos, or online courses.
Are You Interested in AI Voice-Overs? Read my entire post on how AI voice-overs may transform your videos if you're prepared to step up your content production. To help you get started right away, I've also included suggestions for some of the top AI voice-over programs on the market right now.

Welcome to my page!! My names is Spooky!
Important things to know:
🫧 I am African and Native American and minor; I’m a permakid (link)
🎧I was diagnosed with a speech delay at a young age and started speaking extremely late. I had a lisp and multiple problems pronouncing certain words and sounds. My language abilities change frequently but I still struggle deeply with expressing and understanding.
🕸️I have difficulties with social interactions. This includes engaging, initiating, and understanding the people I’m talking to. My interests are limited which means I don’t talk to or follow many people.
What you see here isn’t my full life. Don’t tell me how much I do and don’t struggle, I am a person on the internet you don’t know me
I respond to asks but please be patient! Promise will answer! If truly scared didn’t receive ask, feel free send another asking about it, won’t get mad and will probably help remember need to respond’
———> language + comprehension issues means struggle understand large text paragraphs or other complex things especially in short time period. Try understand little by little. Take while a lot energy make post even if about own experience, longer respond. Patience please.
• terms like “special needs” “severe/profound autism” “high/low functioning” “impairment” and others are used and supported on this account. It’s only used for self/ people who like them, don’t be hateful because you don’t like those terms
Other information!!
🧩medically recognized lvl 2 ASD; closest get diagnosis + done by professional. Am not self diagnosed, my diagnosis would be lvl 2, read here(link)
🗣️I am semi verbal and have a moderate- severe speech impairment. I’m also a part time AAC user. My communication is off n ability n skills changes frequently.
🧠I have severe depression, anxiety, and PCOS. I suspect BPD, NPD and bipolar disorder but am not self diagnosing those
😆I don’t understand tone but tone tags also don’t help! I’m sorry if my tone is off, let me know your tone and give me some time.
💉I get sick frequently n document what symptoms/ problems that get. My account has a tw for sickness because of that. Be aware if things like that trigger you. All post like that are tagged accordingly.
🍼my autism and age regression mix. I don’t have one without the other. A lot do think and talk about is in one way or another related to my regression even if don’t say so. This is completely nonsexual don’t change that.
Gender and identity
🏳️‍🌈I have multiple gender and sexuality identities. I’m grayromantic, pansexual, quoiromantic. I’m apagender and nonhuman. Don’t have other species though, just don’t feel human.
Pronouns it/ its or just use Amy!
I have an understanding on gender and different identities but low understanding on why; this makes struggle with other genders and pronouns. Tell me if get wrong but please understand even if try, might not get right. If just can’t use your pronouns will say so and ask for other options. Please understand this because of autism

Generative AI Does not Belong in Fanfiction. What about others?
So I wanted to do a more in depth analysis of AI in fanfiction because I understand there are multiple types, not just generative AI. I am not an expert and all of this information is a quick google search away
TL;DR Natural Language Processing AI is fine, and helps the visually impaired, as long as its not used for Gen AI. Neural Machine Translation you've already been using, but finding a person made translation will always be better. Machine Learning I don't think you could even apply besides training Gen and NLP, so don't even think about trying it. Computer Vision isn't the most applicable and you can get the same thing from having a Beta.
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
So this is what allows Chat GPT to understand what you are saying and pump out a semi-coherant answer, same with Character.ai and any chatbot you may use (including Siri). Now this can be used for a multitude of things that aren't Chatbots. It's responsible for text to speech recognition, so sight impaired readers may use this to generate an audio of your fic to listen to. Though as a writer, if you want to check things like tone, just don't read your fic for two weeks and you'll be fine. Or have a Beta.
Neural Machine Translation (NMT)
That's what google translate is, as well as any other instant text translator that isn't run by a person. You've probably used this in your writing before, and had little to no problem with it. In saying that, these translators are trained on a wide sample of language data, and still have inacurate results. Finding an actual translation by a person is both more ethical, and more accurate.
Machine Learning
This is what allows AI algorithms to learn, and what scrapers make their databases for. No.
Computer Vision
This essentially allows computers to "see" things in the real world. Could be tied to visual aid, but not super practical.
Conclusion
AI will always be outperformed by basic human services. The only exception is quick accessibility aid for the visually impaired. Getting a friend (or your future self) to re-read your works will help with grammar, spelling, and tone. Finding an official translator will always be better than an AI one. Other forms of AI just support the previously stated ones. People will always outperform machines, because they still have years to go to have a fraction of the intrinsic understanding we do of the human experience. That it what we embody with our writing, and no matter how much AI is fed, it won't ever be able to understand that. Even if it passes the Turing Test it will still fall short, and in fact still is.

CODING FOR KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
The world of coding can be scary, with obscure symbols and complicated logic. What if we told you it might be a creative and problem-solving playground for children with special needs? Intrigued? Buckle up, because we’re going to discover the thrilling world of adaptive coding strategies!
Tumblr media
Here’s how coding transforms into an inclusive playground:
Block-based coding language: Scratch, Blockly, and Codemonkey Jr, these drag-and-drop interfaces make coding more visual and intuitive, which is ideal for children who struggle with traditional text-based coding. Imagine making colorful animations with just a few clicks!
Voice-activated coding: Speech recognition software allows children with physical restrictions to code using voice commands. This enables kids to contribute and express their creativity via code.
Gamification: Gamifying learning makes it more enjoyable and inspiring. RoboGarden, for example, turns coding into a game in which children solve puzzles and accomplish challenges, thus fostering problem-solving abilities in a fun way.
Physical computing: Makey Makey and Sphero robots are two examples of tools that help to connect the digital and physical realms. Coding becomes tangible and interesting for kids when they can program their robots to overcome difficulties or make their own musical instruments.
Multisensory learning: Multisensory learning environments are very beneficial for kids with special needs. Interactive coding exercises that combine visual, tactile, and audio components improve learning and memory. Through the combination of physical building and programming, interactive coding toys such as Botley the Coding Robot or LEGO Education SPIKE Prime offer a hands-on learning experience.
Tumblr media
Several initiatives have successfully implemented adaptive learning techniques to teach coding to kids with special needs:
CoderDojo’s Autism Pilot Program: The international network of coding clubs CoderDojo has introduced a trial program, especially for kids with autism. Through the use of customized support, visual aids, and sensory breaks, the program established a warm and inviting atmosphere in which kids could flourish.
Tech Access: TeachAccess promotes accessible and inclusive design in technology-based learning. Their materials and training courses give teachers the skills and resources they need to design coding curricula that are accessible to learners of all skill levels.
Apple’s Everyone Can Code Curriculum: All students can benefit from inclusive and accessible coding instruction thanks to Apple’s curriculum, which includes activities and materials designed specifically for students with disabilities.
Remember: It’s all about finding the correct match! Investigate multiple coding platforms, try out new strategies, and celebrate little wins. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, so customize the learning experience for your child’s individual needs and interests.
Coding is more than just building snazzy websites or mobile apps. It is about developing problem-solving abilities, promoting creativity, and instilling confidence. By embracing adaptive learning methodologies, we can provide access to this exciting world for all children, empowering them to become future coders, inventors, and innovators.

So because of the new Transformers movie coming out, I decided to do a little project. I wanted to see what Bumblebee would look like as a human.
I was using the Bayverse as my universe of choice for this project, and added Bumblebee for Timeline
In the Bayverse, I headcanon Bumblebee to be in his late 40s, because of his vocal patterns and personality, plus his character. In the first movie he'd be in his late 30s (35), same in Revenge of the Fallen (37, due to the 2 year time skip.). In the 3rd, Dark of the Moon, Bee would be in his early 40s (40), and in the 4th (Age of Extinction) he'd be 44. Bee would be in his late 40s - early 50s in The Last Knight, at the age of 49. In Bumblebee, I hc him to be in his early teens. In the time of the movie, Bumblebee was born during the war and was a child soldier. Bumblebee takes place in 1987, so he's 13 in that time. I also had to remember military standards and styles, from my own experience and research. With all this in mind, I got to work.
Let's start with younger Bee.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With his younger age, I tried to capture the most important thing - his innocence. In Bumblebee, Bee is very much childish and doesn't know what to do with himself. To make matters worse, he's stuck in an unfamiliar environment, doesn't remember much about who he even is, and he's far away from home with no support network. Eventually he meets Charlie, and he reunites with his team, but that's only after he makes multiple rookie mistakes and nearly dies.
This version of Bee has shiny new armor and a fresh uniform, plus his first Blues. Blues are formal military wear. Saved for the most important of events. I've only seen them worn a couple of times by my brother Freelancer.
Overall, younger Bee is full of life and curiosity, unprepared for the harsh realities of the world he fights for. Unlike his older counterpart.
Next is Older Bee.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bumblebee in this version has a lot more scars and rough edges. He's experienced war and the world, and has lived on Earth for some time. He's changed up his colors, and has an understanding of his terrain and is a much more dangerous warrior than his younger self. He's also mute, having had lost his voice when he first landed. He's got a bit of scruff, but he doesn't have time to shave.
I used the wastelander mouth scar from Hero Forge and one of the stubble options to make his mouth. The scar on the back of his neck is from him losing his voice back in 1987. His armor is more worn and old, but he still takes care of his equipment.
Daddy- I mean Bee- gains a lot more human allies, from the military, the Witwickys, Mikaela, and Cade, and he speaks with a text to speech device or a portable radio. The most sound he can make is grunting, groaning, and other slight noises, but he cannot form words until he's 49, when he gets his voice back in The Last Knight. He's still one of the younger members, but he's a seasoned old war vet. This shows in his serious expressions and more gruff body language. But, even with all this, he's got a bit of that child left in him, letting it out at the appropriate moments.
That's Bumblebee as a Human in the Bayverse!!

What is Generative Artificial Intelligence-All in AI tools
Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a type of deep learning model that can generate text, images, computer code, and audiovisual content based on prompts.
Tumblr media
These models are trained on a large amount of raw data, typically of the same type as the data they are designed to generate. They learn to form responses given any input, which are statistically likely to be related to that input. For example, some generative AI models are trained on large amounts of text to respond to written prompts in seemingly creative and original ways.
In essence, generative AI can respond to requests like human artists or writers, but faster. Whether the content they generate can be considered "new" or "original" is debatable, but in many cases, they can rival, or even surpass, some human creative abilities.
Popular generative AI models include ChatGPT for text generation and DALL-E for image generation. Many organizations also develop their own models.
How Does Generative AI Work?
Generative AI is a type of machine learning that relies on mathematical analysis to find relevant concepts, images, or patterns, and then uses this analysis to generate content related to the given prompts.
Generative AI depends on deep learning models, which use a computational architecture called neural networks. Neural networks consist of multiple nodes that pass data between them, similar to how the human brain transmits data through neurons. Neural networks can perform complex and intricate tasks.
To process large blocks of text and context, modern generative AI models use a special type of neural network called a Transformer. They use a self-attention mechanism to detect how elements in a sequence are related.
Training Data
Generative AI models require a large amount of data to perform well. For example, large language models like ChatGPT are trained on millions of documents. This data is stored in vector databases, where data points are stored as vectors, allowing the model to associate and understand the context of words, images, sounds, or any other type of content.
Once a generative AI model reaches a certain level of fine-tuning, it does not need as much data to generate results. For example, a speech-generating AI model may be trained on thousands of hours of speech recordings but may only need a few seconds of sample recordings to realistically mimic someone's voice.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Generative AI
Generative AI models have many potential advantages, including helping content creators brainstorm ideas, providing better chatbots, enhancing research, improving search results, and providing entertainment.
However, generative AI also has its drawbacks, such as illusions and other inaccuracies, data leaks, unintentional plagiarism or misuse of intellectual property, malicious response manipulation, and biases.
What is a Large Language Model (LLM)?
A Large Language Model (LLM) is a type of generative AI model that handles language and can generate text, including human speech and programming languages. Popular LLMs include ChatGPT, Llama, Bard, Copilot, and Bing Chat.
What is an AI Image Generator?
An AI image generator works similarly to LLMs but focuses on generating images instead of text. DALL-E and Midjourney are examples of popular AI image generators.
Does Cloudflare Support Generative AI Development?
Cloudflare allows developers and businesses to build their own generative AI models and provides tools and platform support for this purpose. Its services, Vectorize and Cloudflare Workers AI, help developers generate and store embeddings on the global network and run generative AI tasks on a global GPU network.

SEMANTIC TREE AND AI TECHNOLOGIES
Tumblr media
Semantic Tree learning and AI technologies can be combined to solve problems by leveraging the power of natural language processing and machine learning.
Semantic trees are a knowledge representation technique that organizes information in a hierarchical, tree-like structure.
Each node in the tree represents a concept or entity, and the connections between nodes represent the relationships between those concepts.
This structure allows for the representation of complex, interconnected knowledge in a way that can be easily navigated and reasoned about.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
CONCEPTS
Semantic Tree: A structured representation where nodes correspond to concepts and edges denote relationships (e.g., hyponyms, hyponyms, synonyms).
Meaning: Understanding the context, nuances, and associations related to words or concepts.
Natural Language Understanding (NLU): AI techniques for comprehending and interpreting human language.
First Principles: Fundamental building blocks or core concepts in a domain.
AI (Artificial Intelligence): AI refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. AI technologies include machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and more. These technologies enable computers to understand reason, learn, and make decisions.
Natural Language Processing (NLP): NLP is a branch of AI that focuses on the interaction between computers and human language. It involves the analysis and understanding of natural language text or speech by computers. NLP techniques are used to process, interpret, and generate human languages.
Machine Learning (ML): Machine Learning is a subset of AI that enables computers to learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. ML algorithms can analyze data, identify patterns, and make predictions or decisions based on the learned patterns.
Deep Learning: A subset of machine learning that uses neural networks with multiple layers to learn complex patterns.
EXAMPLES OF APPLYING SEMANTIC TREE LEARNING WITH AI.
1. Text Classification: Semantic Tree learning can be combined with AI to solve text classification problems. By training a machine learning model on labeled data, the model can learn to classify text into different categories or labels. For example, a customer support system can use semantic tree learning to automatically categorize customer queries into different topics, such as billing, technical issues, or product inquiries.
2. Sentiment Analysis: Semantic Tree learning can be used with AI to perform sentiment analysis on text data. Sentiment analysis aims to determine the sentiment or emotion expressed in a piece of text, such as positive, negative, or neutral. By analyzing the semantic structure of the text using Semantic Tree learning techniques, machine learning models can classify the sentiment of customer reviews, social media posts, or feedback.
3. Question Answering: Semantic Tree learning combined with AI can be used for question answering systems. By understanding the semantic structure of questions and the context of the information being asked, machine learning models can provide accurate and relevant answers. For example, a Chabot can use Semantic Tree learning to understand user queries and provide appropriate responses based on the analyzed semantic structure.
4. Information Extraction: Semantic Tree learning can be applied with AI to extract structured information from unstructured text data. By analyzing the semantic relationships between entities and concepts in the text, machine learning models can identify and extract specific information. For example, an AI system can extract key information like names, dates, locations, or events from news articles or research papers.
Python Snippet Codes for Semantic Tree Learning with AI
Here are four small Python code snippets that demonstrate how to apply Semantic Tree learning with AI using popular libraries:
1. Text Classification with scikit-learn:
```python
from sklearn.feature_extraction.text import TfidfVectorizer
from sklearn.linear_model import LogisticRegression
# Training data
texts = ['This is a positive review', 'This is a negative review', 'This is a neutral review']
labels = ['positive', 'negative', 'neutral']
# Vectorize the text data
vectorizer = TfidfVectorizer()
X = vectorizer.fit_transform(texts)
# Train a logistic regression classifier
classifier = LogisticRegression()
classifier.fit(X, labels)
# Predict the label for a new text
new_text = 'This is a positive sentiment'
new_text_vectorized = vectorizer.transform([new_text])
predicted_label = classifier.predict(new_text_vectorized)
print(predicted_label)
```
2. Sentiment Analysis with TextBlob:
```python
from textblob import TextBlob
# Analyze sentiment of a text
text = 'This is a positive sentence'
blob = TextBlob(text)
sentiment = blob.sentiment.polarity
# Classify sentiment based on polarity
if sentiment > 0:
sentiment_label = 'positive'
elif sentiment < 0:
sentiment_label = 'negative'
else:
sentiment_label = 'neutral'
print(sentiment_label)
```
3. Question Answering with Transformers:
```python
from transformers import pipeline
# Load the question answering model
qa_model = pipeline('question-answering')
# Provide context and ask a question
context = 'The Semantic Web is an extension of the World Wide Web.'
question = 'What is the Semantic Web?'
# Get the answer
answer = qa_model(question=question, context=context)
print(answer['answer'])
```
4. Information Extraction with spaCy:
```python
import spacy
# Load the English language model
nlp = spacy.load('en_core_web_sm')
# Process text and extract named entities
text = 'Apple Inc. is planning to open a new store in New York City.'
doc = nlp(text)
# Extract named entities
entities = [(ent.text, ent.label_) for ent in doc.ents]
print(entities)
```
